Insulation washer with integral cap suitable for attachment of insulation layers to wooden and sheet metal substrates.

  • Special design of integral fastener cap allows reduction of thermal bridges to 0,001W/K.
  • Can be used with additional KWL insulation holding plate, available in 90, 110 and 140 mm flange sizes (recommended for soft insulation materials such as mineral wool).
  • Consistent and reliable holding force.
  • Quick, simple and clean installation.
  • Design with long tube allows to use short length of the screw for best cost effective solution  to fix large insulation thickness.
  • Recommended for the attachment of ETICS to wooden substrates using UC screws, or to sheet metal using WB or WX screws ( allows setting without pre-drilling, thus saving a stage of installation).

Installation step by step

Place the KCX plug into the thermal insulation layer and press until the plate is level with the thermal insulation surface.

Fasten the thermal insulation material through the pressure collar with an appropriate screw. Tighten the connector until the recommended anchoring depth is achieved.

Correctly installed KCX plug with WB or WX metal screw.
