Features

Polyester bonded anchor without styrene, recommended for medium loads, for use in concrete

  • Suitable for use in dry and wet substrates including under water.
  • Approved for use in cracked and non-cracked concrete (EAD 330499-00-0601).
  • Very high load capacity.
  • Suitable for repetitive use. Partly used product can be reused fitting a new mixing nozzle.
  • Anchor does not generate expansion forces in the concrete which means reduced spacing and edge distances.
  • Approved for use in non-cracked concrete.
  • Approved for use with post-installed rebars in non-cracked concrete.
  • Suitable for variable anchor embedment depths.
  • Suitable for multiple use. Partly used product can be reused after fitting new nozzle
  • The extended open time allows bar insertion to the required depth even at high temperatures. The short curing time enables continuation of work on the same day.

Installation manual

Installation step by step

1

Blow out the dust at least 4 times with the hand pump.

2

Drill a hole to the required diameter and depth for rebar size being used.

3

Clean drilled hole 4 times.

4

Remove drill cuttings from the hole using the hand pump four times.

5

Place the cartridge in the dispenser.

6

Dispense to waste until even colour is obtained.

7

Fill with resin 70% of the depth of the hole, starting from the bottom of the hole.

8

Immediately after dispensing the resin, insert the rod into the hole with a twisting motion.

9

Remove the unnecessary amount of resin that flowed from the hole and wait for the appropriate time for the resin to cure.

10

Immediately insert the rebar, slowly and with slight twisting motion. Remove any excess resin around the hole before it sets and leave it undisturbed until the curing time elapses.

11

After the resin has cured, remove any excess mortar from the surface of the substrate around the hole using a hammer.

12

Attach fixture and tighten the nut to the required torque. The applied installation torque cannot exceed Tinst, max.

13

Drill a hole of appropriate diameter and depth.

14

Blow out the dust at least 4 times with the hand pump.

15

Remove drill cuttings in the hole using the brush four times.

16

Blow out the dust at least 4 times using a hand pump.

17

Insert cartridge into the gun and attach the nozzle.

18

When beginning dispensing from a new cartouche, discard approximately 10 cm of resin to ensure thorough mixing of the components.

19

Insert the mixing nozzle to the far end of the hole and inject resin, slowly withdrawing the nozzle as the hole is filled to 70% of its depth.

20

Immediately after dispensing the resin, insert the rod into the hole with a twisting motion.

21

Leave the anchor undisturbed unitl the curing time elapses.

22

Reinforcing bar is properly installed in the concrete base.
