Drill a hole of the appropriate diameter and depth into the substrate
Compress the 'wings' and push the fixing into the hole.
When you pull the pin through the hole, the wings will unfold on the other side of the board.
When tightening, the wings will press against the rear side of the plate, holding the fastening securely in place.
Holding the pin in place, tighten the metric screw.
