Wear protective gloves. The substrate should be free from dust, dirt, lime, and grease. If the surface of the wall is dirty, it should be primed before proceeding.

Before gluing the polystyrene board, it is necessary to install the starting strip.

The optimum temperature of the can is +20°C. Application temperature from -5°C to +30°C.

Shake the can vigorously (approx. 30 seconds) to thoroughly mix the ingredients.

Screw gun on to the can. Hold can upside-down during application.

When gluing hydrophobic boards (AQUA EPS) on foundations, apply Styrofix across the board in 4 vertical braids with a diameter of approx. 3 cm, maintaining equal spacing of 20-30 cm between the strips, leave a distance of 3 cm from the edge of the board. For boards with a width of more than 100 cm, apply more adhesive braids to the board.

For adhesion of foamed polystyrene facade insulation, apply a braid of Styrofix (approx. 3 cm wide) around the perimeter of polystyrene boards (approx. 2 cm from the edge), with an additional strip across the centre of the board. For boards with a width of more than 100 cm, apply more adhesive braids to the board.

From the application of Styrofix on the board to the application of the board to the facade or foundation, wait max. 5 minutes.

After gluing the board, adjust its position using a mounting straightedge. The board can only be adjusted within 4 minutes of being bonded. If the boards become detached from the surface, reapply Styrofix. At the corners, use additional supports until the adhesive has set, approximately 10–15 minutes.

After 2 hours the boards are ready for further processing: sand with sandpaper and additionally fasten with mechanical fasteners.

Gaps and joints between glued boards should be filled with glue.

Remove excess adhesive by mechanical means (e.g. with a knife). When removing the gun from the can, clean the nozzle and the gun (outside and inside) with a cleaner.
