Rawlplug products used in the thermal insulation of the prestigious Prague Marina

Prague Marina is a prestigious residential development located in the Holešovice district of Prague. It offers a unique blend of urban living with the natural charm of the Vltava River. 

The project, which began construction between 2008 and 2009, includes 1,000 apartments, office and retail spaces, restaurants, and recreational areas.

The Prague Marina complex provides an environment that combines tranquility, privacy, and lush greenery with the dynamic urban lifestyle, featuring business opportunities, shopping, cafés, and cultural and sports facilities.

Architecture and functionality of Prague Marina

The project includes three distinct categories of residential units:

• inter-floor apartments – ideal for singles and couples,
• family homes – offering villa-like standards,
• luxury apartments – located on the top floors with panoramic views of the Vltava River.

The area has been flood-protected beyond the levels recorded during the 2002 disaster. The development also integrates historical early 20th-century buildings, blending them seamlessly with modern infrastructure.

Prague Marina and its international stakeholders

The project was developed by Prague Marina, a member of Lighthouse Group and Czech Ports, Inc.. The stakeholders include Deutsche Bank AG, Real Estate Private Equity Group London, GTC International Development Company, Scorpio BSG Ltd, and Alliance Holdings & Developments Ltd.

Rawlplug technology in the thermal insulation system

During the construction of Prague Marina, Rawlplug’s universal façade fixings were used to ensure energy-efficient building insulation.

These solutions contributed to the development of energy-efficient façades, ensuring thermal insulation while complementing the modern design of the buildings.
