Located in the heart of the city, Dubai Opera is a prestigious performing arts center that blends modernity with functionality. Developed by Emaar Properties, it hosts a wide range of events, including opera, ballet, concerts, theater performances, as well as conferences and exhibitions.

A multifunctional arts center

Designed by Janus Rostock from Atkins, Dubai Opera offers 1,901 seats and a highly flexible space that can be adapted for various events. Inspired by the traditional dhow sailing vessel, the architecture stands out among other buildings in the city. The "bow" of the structure houses the main stage and auditorium, while the "hull" accommodates logistical and support functions.

Thanks to advanced hydraulic lift systems and a mechanism that allows for the removal of 900 seats, the venue can be transformed into an exhibition hall or banquet space. This adaptability enables the Opera to host a diverse range of events, making it an exceptionally versatile and functional venue.

Advanced Rawlplug technologies

During the construction of Dubai Opera, Rawlplug’s high-performance solutions were used to ensure the structure’s durability and reliability. The following products were applied:

• SP-KSC-8/27 steel and concrete nails and SP-AM-11 cartridges for wall connection installations,
• SP-KRC8/32 nails with washers for securing mesh,
• R-GS-06040 anchors for suspended ceilings,
• R-FF1-N-10L100 frame fixings.
