Features

Certified facade fixings for mechanical fastening of insulation boards in ventilated facade systems.

  • The sleeve is made of UV-resistant polypropylene, so it does not degrade under the influence of sunlight and atmospheric conditions.
  • The high shear and bending load-bearing capacity, ensuring the transfer of loads from thermal insulation boards, was confirmed in the National Technical Assessment. This allows you to professionally design the appropriate number of connectors per m² in ventilated facade systems.
  • The black sleeve combined with the black R-KWL insulation retaining plate with a diameter of 140 mm ensures no visible insulation fixing points on ventilated facades.
  • Quick and easy installation in all substrates (categories A, B, C, D, E).
  • The long plastic overmoulding on the R-TFIX-8S screw minimises thermal bridging (value 0,001-0,002 W/K), contributing to energy-saving benefits.
  • Plate stiffness (value 0.5 kN/mm) ensures smooth elevation surface and stable insulation system.
  • Unique design allows for high load-bearing capacities. This reduces the quantity of fixings required per square metre of insulation.
  • The shortest embedment depth is 25 mm at the maximum strength parameters.

Installation guide

Installation manual

Installation step by step

1

Drill a hole to the required diameter and depth for rebar size being used.

2

Clean drilled hole 3 times.

3

Place the T40 mounting tip in the recess of the plastic part of the R-TFIX-8S-UV screw, insert the pin into the drilled hole.

4

When tightening, press the tip, keeping it precisely perpendicular to the elevation.

5

Tighten the plug screw until the appropriate embedding depth is reached (the plate should be on the surface with a thermal insulation layer).

6
