Sustainability recognised – Rawlplug receives Keller & Kalmbach Award
One of our four production plants – Koelner Łańcut Screw Factory – has been recognised by our German partner, Keller & Kalmbach, for its efforts in the area of sustainability and innovative transformation.
The Łańcut plant received the award just before the start of the Fastener Fair Global trade show in Stuttgart. This distinction is not only a mark of recognition, but also a tangible boost to Rawlplug’s position on the demanding German market.
75 companies, 4 awards, 1 for Rawlplug
The event organised by Keller & Kalmbach in Unterschleissheim, Germany brought together representatives of 75 companies from around the world – from local manufacturers to international corporations. Over two intensive days, participants took part in presentations, panel discussions and networking sessions that provided opportunities to exchange experiences and explore trends in logistics, manufacturing and sustainability.
The highlight of the first day was the official awards ceremony, during which only four companies were honoured. Among the awardees was Rawlplug, recognised for the achievements of Koelner Łańcut Screw Factory (KLFS). This recognition is all the more meaningful considering that we were the only company from Poland to receive an award, and the sole manufacturer representing the fixings industry.
The award from Keller & Kalmbach sends a clear message that the initiatives undertaken by our plant in Łańcut are being acknowledged and appreciated on the international stage – both in terms of operational efficiency and commitment to ESG goals.
An award that speaks louder than words: ESG in practice
The recognition from Keller & Kalmbach fits into a broader context – the ESG strategy (Environmental, Social, Governance), which forms the foundation of Rawlplug’s long-term efforts. In recent years, the Łańcut plant has undergone a dynamic transformation, focusing on energy efficiency, responsible raw material management and process transparency.
The award confirms that a consistently implemented sustainability strategy has a tangible impact on market position and the way the company is perceived by international partners.
On the second day of the event, participants visited Keller & Kalmbach’s logistics centre in Hipolstein. Following the tour, a unique ceremony took place – it was KOELNER Rawlplug that was honoured with the privilege of planting a tree in front of the main entrance.
This symbolic gesture expressed appreciation for the transformation of the Łańcut plant and the shared values of both companies in terms of sustainability. It was an informal yet powerful confirmation that our cooperation is built on solid foundations.

Marketing and sales momentum
Immediately after the event, representatives of Keller & Kalmbach expressed a desire to deepen their cooperation with Rawlplug. They requested a meeting with the management board to learn more about the transformation of the KLFS plant – from production organisation to the implementation of ESG standards.
In addition, our German partners indicated that they would like us to support them in an advisory role on projects related to their own sustainability strategy.
The recognition awarded to the Łańcut plant is also a strong talking point in discussions with clients, particularly in the mature and demanding markets of Western Europe. For many companies, sustainability is now one of the leading business themes – and for us, it represents a genuine competitive advantage.
Thanks to joint marketing efforts with Keller & Kalmbach, we can not only strengthen brand awareness of Rawlplug, but also build long-term relationships based on credibility – both technological and ethical.
Koelner Łańcut Screw Factory – a plant with a future
Koelner Łańcut (KLFS) is one of the key pillars of the Rawlplug Group – a modern production facility that combines nearly a century of experience with an innovative approach to technology and sustainability. Located in Łańcut, the plant specialises in the manufacture of fixings and fasteners, including screws, bolts and specialised metal components supplied to global markets – from construction and automotive to heavy industry.
For years, KLFS has been consistently investing in technological development. The plant is equipped with a state-of-the-art machinery park, including cold forming lines, thread rolling, heat treatment, galvanisation and automated quality control. Solutions in automation, production digitalisation and process optimisation have significantly boosted efficiency and consistency in manufacturing parameters.
Recent years have also brought dynamic progress in the area of sustainability – KLFS has introduced a range of initiatives aimed at reducing carbon footprint, minimising raw material consumption and improving energy efficiency. All of this is done while maintaining the highest quality and environmental standards, as evidenced by international ISO certifications and recognition from business partners.
It is Koelner Łańcut that has been recognised by Keller & Kalmbach as an example of a plant that not only keeps pace with change, but actively drives it. Today, KLFS is not only a centre of manufacturing excellence within Rawlplug, but also a showcase of our ESG strategy – proof that responsible production and innovation can go hand in hand.

A shared presence in Stuttgart – even more opportunities
The recognition for KLFS coincided with our joint presence with Keller & Kalmbach at the Fastener Fair Global trade show in Stuttgart. This event provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen our relationship, promote our partnership, and showcase the tangible results of our collaboration.
We will soon be sharing a video featuring Keller & Kalmbach, recorded during the trade show – yet another confirmation that we are building a meaningful partnership with lasting impact.
Fastener Fair Global 2025
Fastener Fair Global is the most important event in the fixings industry, held every two years and attracting exhibitors from around the world. The anniversary edition in Stuttgart brought together nearly 1,000 companies, but it was Rawlplug’s interactive stand – featuring live demonstrations, films and reference projects – that drew the most attention.
