EXPO 2020 in Dubai

Expo is the customary name given to global exhibitions held regularly since 1751, presenting cultural, scientific and technological achievements of countries and nations from the whole world. The first exhibition took place in London, and 269 years later, in 2020, the achievements of the participants will be officially presented in the Emirate of Dubai, UAE. From the very start, the exhibitions have provided an excellent opportunity for countries to compete in all areas of production. Carefully planned and prepared pavilions are supposed to demonstrate state-of-the-art engineering knowledge and cutting-edge technological capabilities. Rawlplug has also contributed to the Dubai Expo – a building will be erected on 438 hectares in the city of Jebel Ali, housing an exhibition space. The central point of the building will be the central pavilion called the Al Wasl Pavilion. It will be divided into three parts, each of which will be dedicated to a different theme. The investment also involves the construction of an exhibition village with more than 2,000 flats, banks, entertainment facilities and restaurants.
