Together with three befriended companies based in Lithuania, Rawlplug organised a conference comprising a series of seminars intended exclusively for professionals.

The main theme of the Lithuanian conference was flat roofs. Attending seminars held in five cities: Kaunas, Vilnius, Panevėžys, Klaipėda, and Šiauliai, experts from Rawlplug and three other market-leading companies: Icopal – BMI Group-owned roofing membrane manufacturer, Rockwool – insulation manufacturer, and SolarEdge – provider of photovoltaic solutions, introduced industry experts into the various technical nuances of complete roof systems, taking thermal insulation, waterproofing, and fixing solutions into account.

The event we organised together was entitled The New Role of Roofs. We were very eager to emphasise the fact that a roof is nowadays no longer mere weather protection for a building. It is now far more than that, and depending on specific needs, it can play various roles, from a solar energy farm to a terrace or a green garden.

Full package – construction products and services tailored for professionals

The subjects addressed at the meetings included Rawlplug’s unique solutions intended to make everyday work easier for engineers and designers, such as the proprietary EasyFix application featuring the dedicated Roof Insulation module, or our BIM, which has recently received a substantial dose of forward-looking updates.

Each of the companies focused on security, durability, and multifunctionality. Our presentation on the EasyFix software, and specifically the Wind Calculations category along with the dedicated Roof Insulation module, presented with reference to the full range of our R-GOK solutions, attracted much attention among the conference attendees.

And the latter showed up in remarkable numbers. The turnout at the industry-specific seminars was truly impressive.

The figures clearly show that the event was a success. We hosted a total of 247 participants: 95 architects and designers, 78 project managers and constructors, and 74 engineers. We will definitely keep in touch with all of them to maintain the relationships established at the conference.

Experts for experts. Collaboration starting already at the design stage

Our Lithuanian subsidiary did a sensational job co-organising this highly successful event, which manifested itself in the impressive involvement of the audience.

The professionals attending the seminars were very eager to ask questions and take part in discussions accompanying the presentations. What should definitely be stressed is that they were all there for a purpose, representing our target group, comprising professionals interested in our full range of products and services, and on top of that, decision makers engaged in the investment design phase.

The conference in Lithuania was also an excellent opportunity to meet with designers.
The conference in Lithuania was also an excellent opportunity to meet with designers.

Radek was invited to the event along with Arkadiusz Zeglicki, another consulting engineer at Rawlplug HQ. Meanwhile, those who represented Rawlplug during the industry meetings were mainly local experts: Darius Siliauskas and technical engineer Jaroslav Dudanec, who also acted as a spokesperson during the conference.

The team from Lithuania, both before and during the conference, could rely on the support provided by the Polish Headquarters: Paweł Andrasiewicz, Rawlplug’s acting Business Development Manager, and the team working with him, as well as the entire Technical Support Department crew, responsible for the functioning and development of the EasyFix software.

The assumption we have all made is that events such as these, dedicated to specific industry professionals, provide an excellent example of long-term forward thinking about building and consolidating brand awareness at a very early project stage. Conferences, visits to design offices, or academic training workshops for future engineers set the right vector for our development. And our Lithuanian subsidiary company is perfectly aware of that.
