Koelner CZ changes its name to Rawlplug CZ

We have been present in the Czech Republic since 2000, which makes this division one of the longest standing Rawlplug (former Koelner S.A.) subsidiaries. It’s finally time for a historic change – a change of its business name. Find out why we are actually ready for this step!

Rawlplug has already joined the circle of the best established Czech market leaders with the R-TFIX facade fixings, and we are planning to succeed again in the area of bonded anchors soon. The Rawlplug brand has actually dominated the Czech company’s product range for a long time now. The name is already completely recognisable across the Czech Republic, which is why we have decided it is high time we changed it.

Did you know that…?

In some Czech regions, the Koelner brand is so deeply rooted in the construction sector that the term koelnerka has become synonymous with a facade fixing. We are waiting for the same to happen with the Rawlplug brand.
Our readiness to move forward did not come out of nowhere; we have worked for a long time to make the Rawlplug brand naturally recognisable in the Czech market, and at the moment, we sell far more Rawlplug than Koelner-branded products. After almost 23 years since the company’s conception, the time was right for this step.

Round-the-clock logistic support for Czechia and Slovakia

Nearly 1,000 km is the length of the area served by Rawlplug’s logistics centre based in Ostrava.

Our 24-hour logistic support delivered from our warehouse in Ostrava spans virtually the entire Czechia and Slovakia. That’s almost 1,000 kilometres of coverage! We’re really proud of that, because we owe it to an enormous day-to-day effort of many people.”

Rawlplug Academy in the Czech Republic

In 2022, we launched a Rawlplug training centre in Prague, where our Czech team of specialists can now train employees, customers, and business partners.

We record video tutorials, conduct webinars, train live and online. Rawlplug Academy in Czechia also offers standard training packages and construction site visits to provide contractors, investors, and all construction professionals with comprehensive support. Our Czech Training Centre welcomes all those eager for hands-on experience and know-how!
