Visit of the UK Embassy to Rawlplug Headquarters – partnership with a historical background
The visit of Ms. Jennifer Tyldesley to the Rawlplug production plant and headquarters in Wrocław was both business-oriented and introductory. Its main objective was to explore the history of the company, which remarkably combines British heritage with the innovative ideas of a Polish entrepreneur.
Ms. Jennifer Tyldesley, serving as Minister-Counsellor at the British Embassy in Warsaw, had the opportunity during her visit to tour the modern production facility at Rawlplug's Headquarters and attend a presentation on the advanced technologies used in our manufacturing processes. Our guest was particularly impressed by the innovative approach to production automation and the use of the latest solutions in quality control.
Innovations rooted in tradition
We presented ourselves in the best light – as a company that not only cherishes its roots but also drives innovation on the global market, seamlessly and professionally blending tradition and generational knowledge with modern technologies.
The discussions during the meeting focused not only on our history but also on building relationships and the potential for deeper collaboration between Poland and the United Kingdom. Jennifer Tyldesley expressed particular interest in Rawlplug UK, a subsidiary still based in Glasgow – the city where the Rawlings brothers, founders of the brand, first embarked on their business journey.
Although the Rawlplug brand is now under Polish management, we greatly and consistently value the brand's British heritage – it remains an integral part of our identity. We are proud to continue this tradition while expanding the company in the international market.
Jennifer Tyldesley has served as Minister-Counsellor at the British Embassy in Warsaw since August 2023. She brings extensive experience in the fields of economy, technology, and climate policy, which she gained both in China and within various government offices in the United Kingdom. She holds a degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, and a Master’s degree in Development Economics.
