Rawlplug’s visit to the Zagreb trade show
The long-standing cooperation with the Croatian company Rotometal ING has been developing to our great satisfaction. First, we hosted and trained our distributor at our HQ, and then we were invited to one of the largest industry fairs held in Croatia. Read more about our visit.
Courtesy of Rotometal ING, we were able to participate in the 27th BIAM International Machine Tool and Tools Fair and the 30th International Welding and Anticorrosion Fair.
Trade show in figures
The event lasted three days, held on 11,000 square metres of space, in four exhibition pavilions. As many as 240 exhibitors from 26 countries took part.
Rawlplug in Croatia
Thanks to our long-standing relationship with Rotometal ING, we have been present in the Croatian market for 20 years. This has yielded invaluable support for our headquarters.
Rotometal ING is currently a leader in the sales of high-quality fixings and fasteners, which makes us extremely satisfied with this collaboration. At the beginning of April, representatives of the Croatian company visited our HQ, and made the most of the stay to become better acquainted with our products and ways of presenting them using our innovative POS system. Two weeks later, they assembled and displayed Rawlplug’s racks at the fair, completely on their own, as in a textbook.

Only exhibitors offering fixings and fasteners
The trade show was mainly dedicated to metalworking machine operators and welders. You could also have a look at highly specialised equipment, such as metal printers. Rawlplug was the only event participant to present such a unique range of solutions as fixings and fasteners, or installation techniques such as direct fixing and power tools.

Rawlplug’s booth also stood out because Rotometal ING had furnished it with our professional SIS (Shop-in-Shop) Corner-type racks. They had just expanded their product range with our branded POS items.
What did we show?
The product range we displayed was divided into several categories:
- wood screws: PTX and DSX, and the WW90II nailer,
- universal fixings: Uno, 4All, UnoTimber,
- plasterboard fixings: DRA, SM, SPO, GPB,
- fixings intended for solid substrates: the R-HLX concrete screws, mechanical anchors (HPT III & II, XPT III, RAWLBoolt), and the FIX expansion plugs,
- power tool accessories: screwdriver bits, sockets, drill bits, saws, discs,
- power tools: a corded rotary hammer, impact drivers, drills, and a grinder.
