Seminar for architects in Estonia - theme: facades
A unique seminar dedicated to architects, focused on facades, was held in Tallin, Estonia, on November 13. The event was attended by three leading companies in the construction industry: Rockwool, Baumit and Rawlplug. The meeting attracted as many as 80 participants!
Seminar topics: a practical approach to facade design
During the seminar, special attention was paid to the differences between ventilated facades and ETICS systems, as well as modern facade materials, including UV-resistant products and innovative facade fixings. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the companies' full product portfolios, giving them a better understanding of how the solutions can affect the durability, aesthetics and functionality of the buildings being designed.
All presentations were prepared with practitioners in mind - architects who make decisions on the selection of materials in their projects on a daily basis. The seminar allowed them not only to gain new knowledge, but also to obtain the required credits under the mandatory professional training system that operates in Estonia.
Architects attending the meeting also had the opportunity to learn about the proprietary EasyFix software, which supports architects in the design of fastening and façade systems, helping them to accurately select components and optimize projects from a technical and economic perspective.

The benefits for architects of such events include not only the acquisition of knowledge and educational credits, but also the opportunity to directly contact manufacturers and discuss specific project needs. For Rawlplug, in turn, such initiatives are an opportunity to understand the industry's expectations and tailor its offerings to meet changing market demands.
Joint initiative - success and plans for the future
The seminar also provided a platform for the exchange of experiences between experts from different companies. Each presentation brought new and unique insights into the facade design process, allowing participants to draw inspiration and gain knowledge that they will use in their work.
The organizers of the event stressed that the high attendance and involvement of participants confirm how necessary such initiatives are. They are already planning future editions of the seminar, which will expand the topics covered and attract an even larger group of specialists.
