100 years of service life of Rawlplug’s bonded anchors

As the amendment to EAD 330499-01-0601 came into force for bonded fasteners for use in concrete, their service life was practically extended two times. By that means, Rawlplug’s products received formal confirmation of their properties.

To emphasise the importance of this fact, but in the first place to introduce the portfolio of Rawlplug’s bonded anchors to our customers, a dedicated landing page has been launched, available HERE.

The list below presents Rawlplug’s bonded anchors characterised by 100 year-long service life:  

• R-KEX-II – epoxy resin offering the highest performance regardless of ambient temperature and concrete grade, invariably maintaining its high strength,
• R-KER-II – heavy-duty hybrid resin intended cracked and non-cracked concrete applications,
• R-KEM-II – styrene-free polyester resin suitable for application in non-cracked concrete and masonry substrates. It is Rawlplug’s most versatile bonded anchor for a variety of applications.

We would also like to remind you of our proprietary software, Rawlplug EasyFix, that can be used to design fixings and which enables you to define the period for which a given anchor is intended to remain in service (50 or 100 years).
