R-LX-06 with a single inner thread – strong and effective fixing in concrete
Ever since the R-LX screws were included in Rawlplug’s range, they have been an undisputed hit, both in terms of sales and among users.
This comes as no surprise, as self-tapping concrete fixings with such a wide range of parameters definitely provide the right solution to multiple construction and installation challenges.
Within the extensive range of R-LX screws, those with a single inner thread - R-LX-I, available in 35 and 55 mm lengths, are becoming increasingly popular. Their unique design, in addition to a wide range of load-bearing capacities, guarantees quick installation, easy removal and a high fire resistance rating. The relatively small installation hole required makes them a particularly suitable solution for multi-point fixings, based on ETA-17/0783.
Our R-LX screws with a single inner thread are available as the following line items:
- R-LX-06X035-I06-ZP
- R-LX-06X035-I08-ZP
- R-LX-06X035-I10-ZP
- R-LX-06X055-I08-ZP
- R-LX-06X055-I10-ZP
What makes our R-LX I screws with a single inner thread so popular?
Above all, the wide range of applications, including in particular in cracked and non-cracked C20/25-C50/60 concrete, and in hollow-core slabs. They are perfect for fixing various types of installations and wherever fixings are installed at small distances and close to building edges.
Anything else?
- Efficient installation time – achieved thanks to the simplicity of installation (drill and drive), using basic tools (drill and driver).
- Removability – the screw can be removed without generating damage to the substrate, making it possible to easily adjust the installation.
- Small distances can be kept between the screws and from the substrate edges.
- Durability – guaranteed by fire resistance class R30-R120.
How to use the R-LX-06-I screws?
Installation of the R-LX-06-I screws takes only several simple steps. Drill a hole to the right depth, preferably using the R-PRH cordless rotary hammer drill. Drive the screw into the substrate using the R-PID impact driver and install the metric rod benefiting from the presence of the inner thread in the screw head.
For installation of the R-LX-06-I, we recommend the RT-IS-13-1/2L impact socket.
But wait… there is more!
The R-LX screw range includes models with six head options, in two anti-corrosion variants (zinc plated or zinc flake coated) adapted to various structural applications. What they have in common is their unique design, high efficiency and ease of installation, particularly desirable in construction challenges. You can see how they work HERE.
