R-TFIX-8S-UV facade fixings are available in 5 sizes– 175, 195, 215, 235 and 255 mm. All sizes are compatible with the new R-KWL-UV retaining plate. The best parameters when using a reduced anchoring zone of up to 25 mm for substrates A, B, C, D and 45 mm for substrate E.

R-TFIX-8S-UV facade fixing – why is it worth it?
The advantage of our R-TFIX-8S screw-in facade fixing is above all the highest parameters in all materials – the basis for their recommendation for use with ETICS. both the R-TFIX-8S-UV fixing and the compatible R-KWL-UV retaining plate offer all the benefits of this screw-in fixings family, with new functionalities:
- UV resistance. Thanks to the use of UV-resistant materials, the new facade fixings and retaining plates do not degrade under the influence of the sun. This prevents crumbling, cracking and loss of strength, which is particularly important in the case of facades exposed to intense sunlight.
- High strength. The fixing is designed to withstand the dynamic and static loads associated with the construction of ventilated facades. This ensures that the facade panels are securely fastened, both for light and heavier facade materials. The unique anchoring zone also minimizes the number of anchorages needed.
- High shear and bending capacity. Confirmed in the National Technical Assessment, it allows for taking into account the weight of the system and professional design of the appropriate number of connectors per m² in ventilated facade systems.
- Minimization of heat loss on the facade. It was obtained thanks to the use of high overmoulding of the steel pin, which gives a reduced point permeability of the fastener (0.001-0.002 W/K).
- Weather resistance. In addition to resistance to UV, facade fixings also show high resistance to moisture, temperature changes and other weather conditions.
- Aesthetics. The black colour of the fixing in combination with the black R-KWL retaining plate with a diameter of 140 mm fits perfectly with modern facade materials such as composite panels, HPL or metal facades. In addition, thanks to the concealed fastening, the dowel does not affect the uniformity and elegance of the facade.
- Easy to install. The plugs are designed for easy and quick installation. The special design allows for a secure seating in all substrate categories (A, B, C, D, E), which is crucial for the stability of the structure.
- Stability of the insulation system. The high rigidity of the dowel plate (0.6 kN/mm) offers strong resistance to vibrations caused by wind suction forces. In addition, the large diameter of the pressure plate ensures that the insulating material is properly held.
